This form provides the following alarm details for each fault:

Category Name

The system resource responsible for the alarm.

Alarm Level

The severity of the alarm condition: Minor, Major, and Critical. "No Alarm" indicates normal function.

Total

The number of resources in the category that the system is monitoring for faults.

Unavailable% / Faults

The percentage of resources affected or removed from service by the fault or the number of faults present.

Minor Threshold

The percentage of resources that a Minor fault must affect before a Minor alarm is raised.

Major Threshold

The percentage of resources that a Major fault must affect before a Major alarm is raised.

Critical Threshold

The percentage of resources that a Critical fault must affect before a Critical alarm is raised.

 

NOTE: License Violation alarms escalate in severity if the underlying events are left unresolved, not because resource limits have been exceeded. As a result, these alarms do not display any numeric or threshold values. For details, see License Violation Handling.
